What does it looks like?

Restorative Yoga uses bolsters, blocks and blankets to support and relax the body, slow the breath, calm the nervous system and ease the mind. 


Students will be encouraged and guided to modify and shift position or props in order to relax deeper into a posture. 


 Gentle assistance with be offered with the consent of the student prior to start of class. (A brief demonstration of assists will be offered prior to class.) 


No prior yoga experience is needed, whatsoever.

Clinical research of restorative yoga has found that  those with cancer, show improvements to psychological well-being. 


Restorative yoga can decrease depression in cancer survivors.


Improve symptoms of anxiety, depression, and pain symptoms in cancer patients; and help patients manage the side effects of cancer treatments.


What if I don't have any  props?

Just about anything can be a prop! Beach towels, pillows, blankets, blocks  and are all optional.

Reiki is the transfer energy with realized healing qualities.
